Buying AppleCare from Ebay. Should you or Shouldn't you?

Should you buy applecare from ebay or should you just buy it from an official Apple reseller? That is the question I was asking myself last week as my 1 year warranty was coming up on my Mac Pro. I compared prices from apple $249.00 and from other online retailers. Then I checked ebay and I found that I could buy applecare for $92.00 for my Mac Pro, that is a $157.00 savings. I thought wow that is great buy but how can they offer it so low and be legit. I can’t tell you how they can offer it so low but I can tell you that I went ahead and bought it off ebay from 480sherry she has perfect feedback and has been selling applecare for a while. So I took the plunge and did a buy it now for $92.00 with immediate paypal payment. I had the registration code for applecare emailed to me within two hours of making payment and promptly went on to apple.com to register my applecare. Two days later I got my proof of coverage emailed to me from apple extending my warranty an additional 2 years. I can’t speak for all applecare on ebay but I can tell you it worked out great for me and I will be buying it from ebay again the next time I need it . I think the key is feedback, when you look for a seller don’t just look for the positive feedback. See if  they have  sold a lot of applecare  and were there any problems with the transactions. I would stay away from anyone that has no history in selling applecare. I thought I should share my experience buying applecare from ebay so others would know it can be safe and a great way to save some money on applecare.
